Privacy Policy

We collect nothing about you. Our apps have no accounts, no sign-ups, no analytics and no tracking of any kind. What you create stays on your device unless you choose a feature that sends it somewhere, and this policy says exactly which features those are.

Which apps this covers

Every app we make, on Mac, iPhone and iPad. New apps are added here as they are released.

What stays on your device

Your files, folders, screenshots, recordings, clipboard contents, extracted text, samples, presets, signatures, scans, artwork and settings all stay on your device. Where a job can be done on the device, it is: text recognition, barcode and QR decoding, colour extraction, speech recognition, audio processing, image conversion, QR and Wallet pass generation, and translation all run locally using Apple's built-in systems, with nothing sent anywhere.

Permissions, and why an app asks

An app only asks for a permission when a feature needs it, and only uses it for that feature. macOS and iOS ask you first, and you can withdraw any of them in System Settings at any time.

• Screen recording (ScreenshotClip, Searchitall): to record or capture the screen you have chosen. Frames are processed on your device and then discarded or saved where you say. Nothing is uploaded.
• Camera (Scan Flow): to scan a document you point it at. Scans are written to your own files.
• Accessibility and input monitoring (Trigger): these apps turn a key or a MIDI message into another key, which is only possible with these permissions. Key presses are translated in memory, in the moment. Nothing is recorded, stored, logged or sent, and there is no keystroke history anywhere in the app.
• MIDI (Trigger): to receive notes and controls from your instruments, and to send them to your music software.
• Files and folders (The Converter, Mail Flourish, Kontakt Artwork, Scan Flow): to read and write the specific places you pick, through the standard system panel. The app keeps a bookmark to what you granted, and nothing wider.
• Photos (Scan Flow, Mail Flourish): to save something you made, or to use a picture you choose.

Features you choose that send data to third parties

Some optional features send only the specific content you select, and only when you activate them:

• Ask AI (Searchitall): the content you choose, such as a region of your screen or some text, is sent to the AI provider you select, for example Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude or OpenAI, using an API key that you supply and that is stored only on your device.
• Translation: performed on your device by Apple where possible. If you have set an AI key, translation may instead be carried out by your chosen provider.
• Web search: opens the query you choose in your default web browser.
• Reverse-image search (Searchitall): the image you pick is briefly uploaded to a temporary image host so a search engine such as Google Lens can retrieve it, and the results open in your browser. Where the host supports it, the copy is set to delete itself automatically, typically within about an hour. It is uploaded only when you tap the image-search action.
• Signature images (Mail Flourish): by default your logo and any social icons are stored inside the signature itself, so nothing is fetched from anywhere. Gmail and Outlook remove embedded images, so for those the social icons are loaded from an image server we run. It serves images only and keeps no record of the requests, and you can choose to embed the icons instead. Separately, if you choose "Host it for me" for your own logo, that one image is uploaded to a public image host so it stays reachable in emails you have already sent. That happens per image and only when you ask for it; you can instead paste your own image address, or keep the logo embedded.
• iCloud (Mail Flourish): if you are signed in, your own library or progress syncs between your own devices through your own iCloud account. It is Apple infrastructure and we cannot see it.

In every case the data travels directly from your device to that service. We never receive it, see it or store it.

Licences and updates

Apps bought from the Mac App Store or the App Store are handled entirely by Apple. For apps sold directly from our own site:

• Licence activation: your licence key is checked with our payments provider (Lemon Squeezy), which tells us only whether the key is valid and which device it has been activated on. Your email address is held by them as the purchaser, under their own privacy policy.
• Update checks: the app asks our server whether a newer version exists. That request contains no personal data, and we keep no record of it.

Purchases

Purchases and in-app purchases on the App Store are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details. Direct purchases are handled by Lemon Squeezy, who act as merchant of record.

Third-party services

When you use a feature that sends data to a third party, that data is handled under that company's own privacy policy. Those third parties, always only at your initiation, are: Apple, Google, Anthropic, OpenAI, Lemon Squeezy, and the image hosting used for reverse-image search and for optional logo hosting. Please refer to their privacy policies for how they handle data.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to show you, correct or delete. If you have bought directly from us, your purchase record sits with Lemon Squeezy and you can ask us to have it removed. Everything an app stores lives on your device and goes when you delete the app.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
